All in all a very lovely evening was had. I arrived to find that the store room had flooded and so the first task of the evening was to dry out all the drums and equipment and to arrange an alternative setup given the state of my saturated mixer. We had Rob on bar duties this evening as Vince is still out with an arm injury. The first lovely surprise of the evening was when local talent Zoe got up for the first time and blew us away with a sweet and beautiful couple of songs. Then we had the first time appearance of Anglo Lane which is Martin's band with his old friend Owen, which managed to get a few dancers going. And then we were very pleased to have the return of the awesome band The Relics who blasted us with some awesomely great tunes. And finally we were very pleased by our good friend Neil who turned up to join in the fun. After that we all had a nice bit of group jamming until closing time. Aww shucks!
