Rain rain go away, come again another day. Well it had to happen sooner or later. I've avoided it for the last year, but finally we had a soaking wet Tuesday and it was impossible for me to avoid the rain on my bike and still turn up for Music Lab. Still it only serves to shore up my faith in musician kind to see certain brave souls ignoring the weather to come out and play anyway. First up tonight was the absoultely wonderful Simone doing a fine selection of solo songs. Then it was Neil's turn to bring on the big band sound with (almost) everyone else joining in. And finally we had an all too short performance by Dale (watched by the lovely Heather among others) in which he was really sounding very very good! Many thanks of course to Martin and Vince as usual for their also fine contributions, as well as to Carlene for coming back for more.
