A most enjoyable and refreshingly uplifting evening. Will (brother of Tom) did his first ever set at Music Lab and it was really cool and very well received, with everything from classical gas to Led Zep and witty banter, he had the crowd in the palm of his hands. Evan joined in the fun on bass and drums and sang a beautiful version of Flame Trees at the end of the night. Drummer Dave (owner of the electronic kit) also came along and with his excellent rhythmic backing lifted the whole night. Also Neil was on fire and Martin was providing top support. Vince and audience member Carlene joined in on vocals to augment the fun factor. Even my Mum came along and had a little sing. Reached a number of sonic highs throughout the evening thanks to all contributors getting into a really good groove and all in the spirit of sharing the joys of playing music together.
