Present were: Jamie, Brenden, Tim, Marnie, Martin, Hal. This was the first ML without Tim as my partner. Had discussion with Vince about future promotions and incentives. Initially I was not sure what to expect tonight. Vince had sent an email explaining that there was more bands booking in and that there may be some other plans for Thursdays soon. I had sent a reply listing my ideas and plans for increasing patronage. Vince had two great ideas - one was a web directory of musicians. Another was a to have a prize for best new artist each night. In the end it was a fun night with all the usual people turning up plus a few appreciative passers by. Met Joe who told me about the Hotel Utah in San Fran which is apparently a very successfull long running open-mic night. Met a french couple who clapped a few times and had moved locally recently. Emma was on the bar and she lent us some drum sticks that ended up not being needed. I really enjoyed when Martin free jammed with Marni and Tim.
