First Tuesday night after switching from Thursdays. It was a pleasant affair tonight. Tom kicked off the night with a bit of Wish You Were here. Then Ken joined Martin and myself for some pleasant jamming. Then Jamie soon turned up and played bass for the rest of the night with me and Martin. Dee was on the bar, and Vince joined in on vocals for many of the covers.

Martin and myself only. Anita has quit the band and Brenden was too broke and or depressed to come. But Jamie (bass player) turned up with friend from Hong Kong (Maggie). Had a nice jam. Emma was on the bar.

A quiet night. Just me and Martin tonight. Vince was on duty.

Had a great evening. First Music Lab for 3 weeks as none last week or week before. Anita, Martin, Brenden were there. Tom was also there with his girl friend and he played some drums for us. Crowd was very appreciative. We started off the night very well with Black Night and got everyone going. Martin drove me there and we picked up Anita on the way. Then he drove us all back to our respective home afterwards.

No music lab tonight. Martin sick. Brenden tired from work. Raining. Rang and told Anita not to bother coming. Then decided not to go myself and rang and told Vince.

No music lab tonight as there are some other bands playing at TC as organised by Vince.

Went to ML with Brenden and Martin. B was a bit out of sorts and ended up going home half way through the night. But never fear cause Eager 13 were here. And they delivered yet another fine rousing performance in their unique skapunk style as only they can do. Dee was on duty at the bar. Vince joined in on a couple of songs. Anita did not come tonight as she is doing an assignment for tommorrow.

Awsome. First Music Lab with Anita. Also present were Brenden and Martin and also Anita's friend Mick filled in on drums. Emma was invited to play drums but sadly could not make it. Shannon took a few photos for us while we were playing. Audience was very appreciative. During the break we all went out the back for some artistic photos of the band. Met Sam's daughter who helped us by taking some photos.

What a lovely evening. As always, when you least expect it, something good happens at Music Lab. Tonight was a fairly quiet night. Martin and I turned up around 7:30 and we did not setup drums this evening. However we set ouselves up on a couple of chairs and proceeded to produce some very nice relaxed tunes that were well appreciated by the audience. Vince joined us on vocals for quite a few songs (and Joe even joined in at one point). Other highlights included having a visit from talented muso Tom (and friend) who got up for an excellent rendition of Wish You Were Here in which we all joined in on vocals. Vince even shouted us a drink so and let us go through to about 11:30 so we must have done pretty well it seems!

A quiet night. Martin and Brenden and I played most of the night. Emma came in during the night and I asked her about drumming for us at some time and got her number. Later in the evening met Jamie (a professional actor).

Music Lab turned out to be a great evening. Brenden turned up fairly early and we did a good set of songs (with Martin) between 8 and 9 pm. Eager 13 turned up as expected and put in a great set. Martin invited Kaz to jam some Blondie songs afterwards and the whole band stuck around for a bit which created a nice atmosphere for the rest of the night. There was a malfunction with the kick pedal but we managed to get it going again so they sould finish there set. Jamie also turned up late and we jammed a few songs after Eager 13 finished playing. Emma was on duty and she go until 11:30 pm.

First Music Lab after the easter break. Went over in the day time to get all setup nicely. But ended up bein a very quiet evening. We finished up early at about 10pm.

No music lab today due to easter and the hard core bands playing at TC.

Had a good night in many ways but not so good in others. The house band was me, Jamie and Martin with Brenden on vocals, and no drummer although Shannon did get up for a few songs on drums. We played a decent set but I sensed Jamie was not enjoying himself. The highlight was probably the appearance of the band Eager13 who played a great although very load set including some cool covers such as Blondie and XL Capris. Then I noticed Jamie had left - probably when Eager 13 were setting up. Afterwards Brenden and Martin had a go at their song while I fiddled on drums and bass. Then we jammed a few different songs. Joe got up and joined us a bit although he was adamant that he could not play drums.

It was a fun night. Tonight was the first under the new free drinks for all performers arrangment. Singer songwriter Monique (Monesque) was first to perform in her Music Lab debut. Then after tuning up hilariously Ben, Tim and Marnie performed a great set of Trip songs with Ben on left handed guitar again at last. Then the new house band (Hal, Martin, Jamie and Tim) performed four songs. Followed by singer/pianist Ron who performed a few lovely covers. Then we had another set with Ben, Tim and friends followed by some all in jamming with everyone getting up at again some point. The night was rounded off with Ben with beer in hand refusing to leave after everyone else had.

Present were: Jamie, Brenden, Tim, Marnie, Martin, Hal. This was the first ML without Tim as my partner. Had discussion with Vince about future promotions and incentives. Initially I was not sure what to expect tonight. Vince had sent an email explaining that there was more bands booking in and that there may be some other plans for Thursdays soon. I had sent a reply listing my ideas and plans for increasing patronage. Vince had two great ideas - one was a web directory of musicians. Another was a to have a prize for best new artist each night. In the end it was a fun night with all the usual people turning up plus a few appreciative passers by. Met Joe who told me about the Hotel Utah in San Fran which is apparently a very successfull long running open-mic night. Met a french couple who clapped a few times and had moved locally recently. Emma was on the bar and she lent us some drum sticks that ended up not being needed. I really enjoyed when Martin free jammed with Marni and Tim.

A strange night tonight. I was pretty rattled by personal events. Went there early to meet Martin. Jamie soon turned up (with new gibson bass) along with Brended (with hhis bass) and a bottom e string graciously provided for my bass. Me and Martin did some nice playing together at the start of the night. But then after that it seemed really hard to get anything coherent going. At one point it was me, Jami and Brended with 2 basses and one guitar. Tim and Marnie turned up on foot later on with Martin's snare and then certainly the drums did lift the evening somewhat. Also James Mac turned up but did not play. Towards the end of the evening when most of us had had a few things lossened up and became a bit more fun, and even Ken Cooper was persuaded to enjoy the proceedings for a few songs. Afterwards I discussed with Jamie how to improve the sound and satisfaction levels.

Present were Martin, Tim, Marnie, James Mac (with new guitar), Shannon, Elias, Ben Wilson. Di was at the bar. Had a pleasant night. Kept reasonable order even though Ben there. Highlight was the visit by Elias. No Jamie. Martin drove Marni, Ben and Tim back to Botany afterwards.

What an awesome evening. Best thing about tonight was the debut of the all new house band - Tim, Martin,Jamie and myself. Also Marnie came and was in fine form out front for a bit. Plus James put his usual sterling performance. Then Shannon also had a bit of a jam with James and later Tim. Everyone very happy tonight including the audience.

What a crazy night is was. Marnie's single launch was the major event. Tim did not turn up to play or help get there and Marnie was being a bit crazy. I think she was terribly dissappointed when almost noone turned up after about 20 people promised to be there on facebook. Also she was a bit delusional about expecting "Them Crooked Vultures" members turning up. Not to mentioin that we would be able to put in a credible performance without any rehearsing together. Later singer songwriter Chris and friend joined us for some great jammin at the end of the night. Other people there included James, Jamie, Anthony played drums, Steven and even Sasha.

Oh what a lovely evening. Tonight we were treated to a couple of new talents. On the one hand Nick turned up to do a solo spot and delivered 4 or 5 fine songs. On the other hand Pete turned up from thw Woolworths gang and joined in on a few covers including a couple of Church songs. Plus Sash dropped in with his new Maton acoustic. Also we were grateful to have Martin, Marnie, Tim and James there tonight also. Perhaps the highlight for me was jamming with Pete on the Church songs.

Another good night. Martin and I turned up at about 7:30. Tim and Marnie turned up soon after along with Ben, Jamie and James. Ben brought along a friend named Gaz.

What an awesome evening! Martin, Brenden, Jamie and Ben Wilson, and James all turned up plus Tim and Marnie. There were some amazing jams in the middle of the night before James did a set. Great crowd appreciation. We had the entire pub dancing at one point. All three of them (including raffle Sam).
