Amazing evening thanks to visit by the Meet Up guitar group who all got up one after the other a couple of times. Also we were pleased to have Jeff and Jay turn up for the first time to join in the fun and share their music with the rest of us.

Vince helped with setup and mixing all night and joined in at the end of the evening for the jam. Dee was on the bar but not feeling great and Vince took over that job too to help us go for a bit longer this evening.

What a stunning night! Wow! Monannlisa Wilde really rocked us at the Town and Country this evening. This new singer / songwriter is all class and is backed by a superb band. What a team! They will undoubtedly go far. They all really delivered tonight and could well be the best act we have ever had at Music Lab. In addition, all material was written by Monannlisa herself and shows a great talent for songwriting as well as performing! The talent included Monannlisa on lead vocals, Sandra on guitar and vocals, James on lead guitar, Martin on bass, and Brenden on Drums. Watchout for this hot band playing around town over the upcoming silly season, including at the Bondi Hotel next tuesday. Afterwards Vince joined in and we all jammed a few covers to finish off the night.

What a great night. As always, when you least expect it, great things happen at Music Lab. First Max (the drummer from Eager13) turned up to jam with us and to ask if he could borrow the drums for his gig with E13 on Sat at the harp. Then Ron (and Alice) turned up with his keyboard to perform a few tunes. And finally, Jamie (not Jamie the bass player, but Jamie the girl) who I new from years ago through Sierra, turned up as she has moved into the area, knows Dee, and is applying to do the kitchen at TC, and also she got up and played some drums with us for a bit. Max played some drums for us a bit throughout the night, and after Ron did 3 solo songs we all joined him for a few more, with Vince also joining in at the end. Plus Emma was on the bar and she let us go through until 11pm, and she said she is coming next week and that a friend of hers will come and play.

Aluminize came out to play. Cool under age band Aluminize treated us to some great tunes. They played for about 40 minutes, swapping instruments a couple of times and playing a few classics with great panache and style. Then Martin and I played the rest of the night with Vince doing some backing vocals. We finally got the piano back this evening. Though there are some problems with the electronics apparently, and it needs a tune up.
